Windows comes with Defender built-in, which is an antivirus. You have the OPTION to buy other antivirus software (it will replace Defender; don't try to run two antivirus programs at the same time--you will regret it). Anonymous 2: To force your computer to ask for a password on login, you should have set it up when you first turned it on. At this point, type "control panel" in the main Search field (left of center on the Taskbar), then click on the blue Control Panel. Look for and click on "User Accounts." Go from there.

If I go to "lock" it or put it in "sleep" mode, the laptop opens up without asking for a password. If I shut it down, the same. It starts up and my system is available without needing the password to open. How can I secure it?
