Hello and thank you for asking. The HP 17-cp3005dx laptop comes with a 30-day trial version of Microsoft Office 365 pre-installed. To turn that trial version into a full version, you will need to separetly purchase a product key for either a subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal or Microsoft 365 Family, or for a version of Office 2024.

Please try again later.HP is correct, but just to add: (1) if you only need limited use of Word, Excel or PowerPoint, this is provided for free from Microsoft through a browser window; (2) If you don't need every bell and whistle available from the newest version of MS Office, the older, 2021 version can be purchased at a considerable discount (I've seen suggested retail of under $50 for one computer).
