Is the keyboard backlit? null

No, this laptop doesn't. That was a something I would have liked but wasn't a deal breaker for me .

No. If you want a laptop with pretty lights, you should search for gaming laptops, and pay for the feature. If you actually need to type in near dark, there are a few different types of external lights that can be purchased at modest cost (<$20), and they will last you forever.
