Thank you for the question. The HP 17-cp3005dx is presented with Windows 11 Home in S mode, and apps can only be downloaded from the Microsoft store. If apps that you need are not there, you have the option to move the OS out of S Mode, however, it's a permanent conversion. Please check the app/software manufacturer's website for the most current system recommendations.

The first method requires care and some familiarity with how the Registry works, while the second method completely erases the C-drive.
