- Answer There really is no way to add an optical drive unless you want to go to an external unit. Unfortunately, Best Buy doesn't have any similarly configured models with a built in optical drive.

- Answer There are 2-M.2 slots available for solid state drives on this laptop. There is also 1 M.2 slot for WLAN.

- Answer The 17-cb0020nr laptop can be expanded to 32 gigabytes of RAM. There are 2 slots available. There is currently only 1-8 gigabyte RAM stick installed. According to the manual, there are two M.2 slots available for solid-state drives
