“I have another, what is recommended with defender so other antivirus and malware don’t compete for my ram speed. I saw on another question on a similar model just smaller screen, not to have multiple antivirus downloaded as it will slow system.”

Windows Defender, which is an antivirus program included free with Windows 10 or 11, will not slow your system down.

Please try again later.Hello, Windows 11 is installed with its own security software called Microsoft Defender which protects against Malware, Phishing, app security, Antivirus, Smart Screen, Firewarll, Bluetooth, and WiFi. HP does offer a 30 day trial of McAfee on each computer to try! Additional security is a personal preference. Thank you for being an HP customer!
