QuestionDoes this laptop have a hard drive? What size?

- Answer Hello. Thanks for your question. This HP laptop has a solid state drive for its storage. It is 256 gigabytes. In a traditional hard drive, there are spinning disks or platters that move when you are accessing data. It takes time for it to search. Solid state drives do not have those moving parts: therefore, they work faster for you and last a lot longer.

- Answer Hello! Thank you for your question! Microsoft Office is a software you must purchase separately. The computer comes with the Windows operating system that includes a version of paint. You may download the Adobe Reader for free from the Adobe website, but you will be able to open PDFs via the pre-installed internet browser Edge.

- Answer Can I make a copy of a CD and burn it to a CD-R? (not a rewritable CD) The question was not answered about burning a DVD to a DVD+R, the specs sound like only a DVD-RW can be used? Does this computer "finalize" discs?

QuestionI am looking at either this laptop or the DELL Inspiron with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor. I need it for basic home tasks, as well as zoom meetings that include streaming videos though the share screen. Is this laptop better/worse for those needs ?
