“I have this laptop but I REALLY need a hard shell laptop case. What case would you prefer that fits this laptop? Would you say a 13 inch Mac book pro hard case would fit? It is more so 13 than 14 inch”

It is often difficult to find hard shell cases for most laptops as there are so many different models and configurations. You may not be able to find one available or possibly from a third party.
