There is not a 2nd slot to add an additional hard drive. This particular laptop does not have a m.2 slot available. Other models may have that option available. But this one does not have that option. Typically M.2 devices typically are solid state drives. Sometimes, they can also be wireless cards, bluetooth cards and optane memory. It will depend on the length of the card.
