Here is how you can adjust the backlight brightness keyboard on a Chromebook: Locate the alt and the screen brightness adjustment buttons. Press and hold down on the alt key. Tap on either the screen brightness up or down buttons. The brightness buttons have an icon of the sun on them. There will be two of them, one will be a small sun and the other is a bigger sun.
