• This monitor comes with a 25W power adapter which needs to be plugged in at all times to have power to the monitor.

• Are you talking about the HDMI cord that comes with the monitor? That is to be plugged into the HDMI port in the laptop or computer. Not sure what "charger" you are referring to, but I bought the same monitor, and it did not have a "charger" in it. I would look through your user manual and find out its purpose.
