• Yes. I run two monitors from my laptop, one with the HDMI cord that came with the monitor and the other with an MDP to HDMI adapter. The setup is great. The monitors are perfect !

• You can connect it to your laptop monitor through HDMI as long as your laptop has HDMI output.

• It can be connected using a HDMI cable. Also, if you have an usb to HDMI adapter then you would be able to use an usb port.

• Yes you can hook it up through hdmi. Most computers once connected will automatically work if not check your display settings

• If your laptop has an HDMI output port on it, it will connect to this monitor but it won't connect to your usb port unless you have a usb to HDMI adaptor.
