“My HP 27ES display, purchased today from Best Buy, did not come with an installation cd. Because the cd was mentioned in the user guide, I am interested to know if the cd has been discontinued, or is it simply a shipping error?”

• No CD with mine either, though I'm not sure why you would need one.

• Mine also did not come with the cd....I believe it is supposed to come with the monitor. it really bothers me that it was not included when it should have been.

• No need for instillation CD. Plug in and enjoy.

• May be an error. Mine also said something about a CD. There was no in my box either. I dont think its even necessary, my monitor setup like a breeze.

• There was a CD included in the box, you can find what you are looking for on HP website, always the better choice even if you get the CD. They might start not to have them because computers start not having CD players.
