• I recommend taking it back to the store and exchanging the product. There should be a cord in there.

• Yes. This 100% comes with an adapter. The whole thing. You should be able to power on the monitor and connect it to your computer with everything that is included in the box.

• That's odd.. I got everything in mine: the power cord, the vga cable and an hdmi cable.
