• The 564 XL is not compatible with the c510 printer.

• The fine print on 564-XL(which is a narrower cartridge) states it is to be to be used on 5-cartridge printers and does not replace the 564 black. My printer takes three color & one 564-XL black (all narrow) and a 564 black (wider). Check your printer to see what it needs.

• The HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One Printer - C510a uses two different black ink cartridges, Black and Photo Black. This photo black ink cartridge is compatible with the C510a if it is put into the correct ink cartridge slot.
