“What is the shelf life of the toner? Does it have an expiration date?”

• There is no "expiration" date on toner. There is no "use by" date. The date of manufacture on the toner cartridge box is intended for HP internal processes and may be required to comply with regulatory standards in certain countries. The date of manufacture is not an expiration or “use before” date. The packaging materials used to protect ink cartridges enable a shelf life of at least 18 months past the manufacturing and shipping dates.

• I'm sure that HP knows the shelf life but the box has no such dates listed.
