• The xl definitely last longer but the others are fine for a light to moderate user.

• They don't last as long as the xl but I have had them last a month. I tend to run out the black cartridge before the color cartridge.

• No, but yes. If you don't print a lot they should last, but if you print daily, as i do, they don't last as much as i with they would.

• Yes,HP cartridges are long lasting type and you don't have to worry about missing dots or deprime..Very reliable indeed..

• Always look for the XP if you print a lot. The rest are a few hundred less pages but work just as well.
