• The HP 61 Black Ink Cartridge (CH561WN) will print approximately 190 pages, while the HP 61 Tri-color Ink Cartridge (Yellow, Cyan, Magenta) (CH562WN) will print approximately 165 pages. Average page yields are tested on 8.5" x 11" paper with 5% page coverage (a normal document).

• I run a business so I found going with a laser printer I only have to replace my ink once a year vs the HP 61 and so on.The smaller one you have to replace them every 1 1/2-2 months you can print a couple hundred if you are looking for more pages per cartridge I highly recommend Lazer but not through Best Buy they don't cater to Business or business like printing hopefully this will be helpful.

• It really depends on how much you use it and what your settings are. My son and I used it moderately for a college writing class, and it lasted almost one semester.

• I don't know as I think the answer would depend on what you are printing (e.g., mostly black, mostly color or documents that use both).
