Yes the XL just have more ink in them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The 61 cartage is the normal size. By using the 61XL cartage you get about 2x more pages to print. I usually buy the 61XL when I can.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The cartridges are the same specification, except the XL's have more ink. They're advertised as printing up to 2.5 times as many pages as the regular cartridges. I get more pages, but haven't verified if it is 2.5 times more. ymmv
