Suggest that you look at the printer manual or just go to Best Buy where they have a list of printers and ink cartridges.

Your cartridge should have the number written on it in bold black ink. Replace with the same number you take out

Just go to the Best Buy web site and type in the search box the model # of your printer : e.g.: "Ink for the HP Office Jet Pro 8720" - it will take you to the site to choose the ink you need. To save get a black & color(s) together at the same time. These are very expensive but the "high yield" will give you the best longevity. ( started at the beginning of BB's site and put "printer ink". It will walk you thru it. GOOD LUCK & MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

The product number for "HP ink cartridges 62" is "E4W44A". this particular set of cartridges comes with TWO overall: one cartridge is BLACK, and one is TRICOLOR, which covers all the colors the printer is capable of reproducing (millions).
