How many pages does the 62XL print compared to estimated 200 for 62 null

I only got 12 color copies out of my regular ink color 62? How is it possible that everyone else is getting so much more?!

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I have never even remotely gotten as much out of these cartridges as they say you should. I up just bought a brand new color 62 XL and my daughter has only used it to print out to and from tags with a little design on the top for school. six of them per page. I have only printed out 41 of those pages and my ink is completely gone. I cannot imagine how people are getting 400 pages Out of these cartridges. Ink is the biggest rip off I have ever seen in my life. $51 for a cartridge that prints out 41 pages. Next time I will print out one page and take it to OfficeMax and get it copied multiple times. That’s way cheaper!! Every time I have to buy ink I get ticked off because of how much they charge for it.

Great question. The HP 62XL black cartridge will print up to 600 pages. The color 62XL will print up to 415 pages.

I can’t give you a number but it is a lot more than you would get with with just a 62. I found out the hard way after buying the 62 and it was gone in no time. So always buy the 62XL.

I have never thought about keeping a count of how sheets 
Of printed paper we get on either regular 62 HP or the XLHP ink,
But I will try to keep a count starting when I put in a new ink cartridge.

That would totally depend on how much printing you are doing per page. The more printing per page, the fewer amount of pages that you will be able to print. Either way, for myself, I prefer purchasing the XL cartridges because why take a chance that you will run out of ink sooner than you expected?

Naturally I didn't count them, but it seemed to print substantially more. -- And then there is the hassle of stopping to change cartridges and letting the printer do it's seemingly endless alignment, always at the most inopportune time. IF I could buy cartridges with three times the capacity, I would.

The xl is usually double the amount vs the regular ink cartridges
