• Hi Nikki, thank you for the question. The difference between 64 and 64XL ink is page yield. 64 black yields up to 200 pages, and 64XL black yields up to 600 pages. 64 tri-color cartridge yields up to 165 pages, and 64XL tri-color yields up to 415 pages. Of course, these yields depend on what you are printing and how much ink you use. Photo printing typically yields less than these quoted yields. Instant Ink is a great solution since you are charged by the number of pages you print, and not the amount of ink used to print that page.
