Got a replacement, no big deal, but had to wait.never had a problem with paper.

There could be any number of issues ranging from the cartridges themselves to the carriage and their electrical connections. You can take the printer into Geek Squad for servicing or even contact HP through their Smart Friend service as both have the tools and knowledge for what is causing the errors.
