“I do not print a whole lot and I'm afraid if I get a high-yield cartridge that it will dry out. Is it possible for these cartridges to dry out just sitting in the printer if you don't print offten ? I might print 20 pages a month.”

20 pages a month is totally find for the cartridges!! The only risk you'd run of ink drying out is if you left the cartridges sitting and the printer unused for months at a time!!
