“Is this a web based printer? I downloaded new drivers for the HP Office Jet that I have now and those drivers caused it be be a web based printer - it't been nothing but trouble and frustration since. Want to avoid that issue. Thanks!”

A Web-based printer is physically the same as an ordinary printer, but it has the added ability to connect to the Internet through Wi-Fi or a wired network. I would recommend reaching out to HP Support for further assistance on the printer.
