This is a bare bones ink jet printer. It was bought because of it's lowest price. I know it will do a good job as a copy machine because I used it for that. However, I assume that if it can copy it will scan. The WIFI works very well. The paper feed tray has a very limited capacity. Set your price level to a more expensive machine to avoid being disappointed.
