Hello, the HP Deskjet 2734e is designed for home use. If you are printing regularly, daily, dependent on how many prints you're doing per day, you might decide to upgrade to a higher level printer such as the Officejet series. However, if you are printing small amounts daily, this printer should be sufficient for your needs. The ink consumption is based upon the plan you choose with Instant Ink as this printer comes with 9 months of complimentary ink through the HP+ program combined with the Instant Ink program.
