That's a great question, thank you for asking. You can connect the DeskJet 2755e directly to your laptop with a USB A-to-USB-B cable. You will not be able to take advantage of the free ink or ongoing Instant Ink service, or the free extended warranty, because those benefits require an internet connection to the printer.
