• Thank you for your question! There is the HP+ program (free lifetime enrollment) and then there is the HP Instant Ink subscription. If you sign up for HP+, it's for the life of the printer. If you sign up for HP Instant Ink, it's for as long as you'd like to keep it. You can use genuine HP ink cartidges from the store if you prefer, however Instant Ink users typically save around 50% on their ink costs.
