• This printer uses the HP 63 or 63XL cartridges. It is also Instant Ink capable.

• 1 black cartridge, 1 color cartridge both for HP Series 3600. Would have preferred multiple cartridge for color, which ultimately makes it more cost effective. That is what happens when you don't pay attention to purchase.
