hi, is the printer supposed to include a usb cable? null

Re: whether a connecting USB cable is in the box, there are several answers from HP saying it's not. Then there's this one, officially from HP, saying there is one in the box. Same with contradictory answers from customer answers. So which is it? Maybe it's both, some do, some don't. It matters to me, as I'd like a direct cable connection, as my last printer (an Epson, couldn't connect with the wifi to my Samsung laptop). That's why I'm shopping for a new printer. Weird to see so many contradictory, even official from HP, answers on this topic. Contradictions, too, on whether it even has a porthole for the USB cord to plug in. That's basic info that is really needed.

I just bought a brand new one today 8/8/2022. It DID NOT come with the USB cable.

HP customer support is an absolute joke. I need to speak with a REAL PERSON. Im sick of their helpless automated BS.
