“To set up the printer, does it use a CD or do you have to connect to your computer to it with an USB cord? My new laptop doesn't have an USB port either. I need a printer that totally connects with wifi”

No wireless...the best!!!!

When you start the setup/registration process you will be prompted to download the HP smart app (if you don’t have it already). From there any software it requires will be downloaded from HP and guide you the rest of the way to get you started. If you have more than one HP printer, you will be able to manage them all through the HP Smart App

Fortunately, you will be pleased to learn that connecting the printer with a printer cord (USB A to USB B) is no longer necessary. Similarly, the printers do not come with a CD due to their WiFi capabilities. You can still connect this printer with a printer cord if you prefer. Please note that this printer is wireless and will not have any issues connecting to your laptop, or any additional device with WiFi. Have a wonderful week!
