“Hi if I don’t want to enroll in the HP instant ink program, can I just buy my own ink cartridges? And if so I should not use the ink cartridges that come included? Also any other info on the color cartridges would be appreciated.”

Yes you can. The HP Instant Ink program is an optional ink delivery service. The ink cartridges that come with the printer can be used either with instant ink or with cartridge that you purchase. This system comes with the HP 67 Black and HP 67 Tri-color setup cartridges. You can use HP 67 or HP 67XL inks with this printer.
