I have found that MANY of the ink caftridges that are sent to you by HP in the membership aren't worth the membership cost at all. As you say, they either don't work when you think they are going to OR (like you) get a warning that the cartridge is already damaged or empty. If you notice they are made in China and HP doesn't make control the quality at all. I had to spend at least 8 total clock hours on the phone with HP just to convince them that they owed me cartridges. As soon as my free ones are finished in my membership, I am going to buy them non-HP ones after the hassle and I have over 6 months left on my membership. I wonder how long I will be on the phones in the future. I think their customer dis-service agents are in the Philippines because one of them even said "They don't care what we do over here."
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for the question. 4155e is the model of your printer. 4100e is the printer series or "family", of which your printer is a "member". It's possible that the intial cartridges that shipped with the printer are out of ink, as a good amount of ink is used in setting up the printer. If you shut the printer down between uses, it takes more ink when you restart. Did you accept the free ink offer? If so, replacement ink will be sent to you when the printer signals that it needs more. You indicated that your printer is sending a message that the cartrudges are damaged? Please reach out to Support.HP.com for assistance.
