• The motherboard does have a second M.2 slot, which is normally used for an SSD. I believe you could even put in a second SSD larger than 256GB if you chose to.

• Todd, thank you for your question about the expandability of this HP Desktop! You can add an a SATA SSD or HDD to this tower. If you are looking to add an SSD, be sure to purchase the bracket to accommodate the drive. The board does not accommodate a second M.2 drive.
