There is no way to get a non-opinion-based answer for this. Turning the computer off and powering it back on fully is harder on the computer and the parts in the machine since it requires more power to run through the system and everything to sort of have a harder start-up. Leaving it on even in sleep mode uses extra power long-term that may not be necessary, and when the power is on it can potentially help it get more dust into the system even if the fans help keep some of it out. You might have to consider how often you actually use it throughout the day versus how long it would be idle. If you are only using it for 4 to 6 hours, that is a lot of time it is sitting idle.
