“Only phone cord connects computer to router. Stated it would take 6 hours to download Trend Micro. Went thru process but didn't download after all that time. What am I doing wrong? Hooked up correctly??? Computer is very slow. Just bought it.”

Hi Barb, thank you for the question. You need a cable that can handle the bandwidth - not a phone cord. You'll need an Ethernet cable to connect to your router if you're not using WiFi.
