- Answer Do a Google search on "how to transfer data files from an old computer to a new computer." It will give you some ideas and choices. You may have to reinstall some programs (apps to you young folks), either from CD's or DVD's, or by downloading the programs from various websites.

- Answer If the manufacturer follows the official recommended guidelines, USB 3.1 ports have blue inside, whereas USB 2.0 ports have white or black. Look carefully at the little piece of plastic in the USB port opening.

QuestionI purchased VGA to HDMI from StarTech for dual monitors. I plugged in both monitors (one through the VGA-to-HDMI and one through HDMI). The VGA monitor is blurry and can only get 1920x1080. HDMI gets 2560x1440 and is perfect. Can this be fixed?

- Answer If you are not using the available PCI-X slot purchase a low end graphics card with two available digital ports as such as dvi-d, HDMI, or display port. A 1030 GT would be an example.

- Answer There is a button on the DVD drive that you need to push and it will open. To close you just need to push the "drawer" and it will go back in place.
