I know all about external drives. HP needs to put internal Optical CD/DVD drives back in their PCs. Thanks for nothing!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does not, but you can use an external drive that connects to one of the USB ports. I'm not sure why the picture shows a model that has one, but I've documented the discrepancy so that Best Buy can correct it.

Why Best Buy or HP show so many desktops with what APPEARS to be such is beyond me, and that is definitely worth complaining about. With that in mind, however, there a number of Dell computers that DO have this feature on the Best Buy website. If you insist on the HP brand for your optical drive requirements, there are also a couple of other MAJOR RETAILERS where they can be found. Be aware, however, that these will be used/refurbished models.
