“I can't hear any hint of air movement from a fan cooling devise. Also can't feel any form of vibration either, making me wonder if there is any fan action at all ! If there is air movement, they have done it completely silently ! AMAZING ! I hope”

Mine has a quiet hum and I can feel air coming out the side vent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The fan on this unit turns on very rear - when processor is used seriously. There is no other noice because it is equipped with SSD hard drive. And solis state drive does not have any moving parts. Because of that it is much faster than old mechanical hard drive.

You should be able to see the fan running, by looking through the grille on the rear of the PC. This is most likely to happen under a heavy task load. If you have noticed that the case is warm but you have no indication that the fan is running, please reach out to Support.HP.com for assistance.
