The maximum is actually 500w I have one in mine. I honestly think it can go higher.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The maximum is 300w, and you must purchase it directly from HP since it's a non-standard power supply. Their site to purchase it barely works and doesn't appear to be intended for end-users. And the power supply is over 200 bucks for the 300w. (As you probably already know, you can buy standard power supplies with more power for a quarter of that price...) In short, don't plan on upgrading the PSU.
