Hello. Any brand of external storage or DVD drive would be suitable for this HP desktop. Models that use the USB 3.x standard are preferred and thankfully represents the vast majority of external drives on the market today. Higher performance specifications and higher/more positive ratings/reviews would be the brands and models you would want to prioritize in your selection.
