Thank you for the question. Backlit keyboards were an option on certain models of this discontinued EliteBook 840 G5. Please reach out to Best Buy to determine if this model has a backlit keyboard. We cannot comment on the pricing structure sellers apply to refurbished models, however, it often has to do with physical condition and extent of refurbishment. Please make this inquiry with Best Buy.
