My HP Envy 17 (17m-cg-0013dx) doesn't have an internal SATA connector. When you do open yours, could you send me a pic of your hard drive? I need to know the part number or model number of the SATA connector. Here is the video to upgrade your NVME drive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-diMJDZ11EQ. Before you install the new drive, you will need to clone the drive you are replacing. You don't want to lose that Optane software & this will keep you from having to reinstall Windows.
