• This laptop will operate on AC power range of 110v--240v (according page 68 in the User Guide) http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06561933 An ADAPTER (or adapters) is still required for the different international power sockets. (But a CONVERTER is NOT required) as suggested by HP's answers.
