Are you able to upgrade the ram on the laptop? null

Thank you for your question! The memory on this laptop is not upgradable and the 16GB RAM option is only available in the models that have the i7 processor.

There's always so much disagreement on this that I searched out the answer myself. The vast majority of results say that the RAM is soldered to the mobo and therefore can't be upgraded. This includes two YouTube videos of someone opening the unit and showing the solderered RAM. Only one source said it could, so it's possible that was the original intent.

The salesman stated yes when I asked.
