• I don't think any of them come that way anymore. Took up space vs memory and added extra weight.

• Thank you for the question. Internal CD drives have been eliminated from modern laptop designs to make them lighter and more efficient. Increasingly, most users now download or stream content from the internet. However, if you still want a CD/DVD, you can connect an external unit to the laptop via USB.
