• Late response--lift the edge of the top piece in front of the wheel. The material is flexible.

• My mouse has no notch on the side. Is there a trick to lifting off the gray cover ? I do not want to break it.

• The cover is magnetically attached. Just lift it from the rear and there are hooks towards the front to slide towards the rear.

• There is a notch on the side of the mouse. That grants access to battery.
