• The camera must be up to access mics. They are built into the camera location.

• I have used a USB microphone with this system. Windows 10 should recognize it and have it available for use with any app requiring it.

• You shouldn't really have to set it up. It's built in and will work when you use the webcam, etc. But to access your Windows 10 sound settings, click the Start button in the lower left of the screen and choose Settings (Gear icon) > System > Sound.
