(system model is surface with Windows RT and os name is Windows RT 8.1) I purchased it and don't want to open it and take it apart unless I know it works, otherwise, I will return it and get one that is compatible. i don't know yet, but as my experience , most wireless printer and if it work from mobile phone to. it will work.

Yes! I love the wireless printer, was exactly what I needed to go with my purchase of the Lenovo laptop, which connects with my Verizon mobile hotspot, on my Samsung S 6 cell phone purchase All products were purchased @ Best Buy.

The printer is wireless and once you have the All in One program on your phone or tablet it would print straight off the mobile...... You can also get the Easy Print app and it would work from your mobile or tablet

I am not seeing a driver for the Windows RT but I recommend contacting HP Total Care at 1-800-474-6836 for compatibility.
